* One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. 1.

* In the United States, a woman is raped every 6 minutes. 2.

* One in six women and 1 in 33 men have experienced an attempted or completed rape.3.

* One in twelve women and 1 in 45 men have been stalked in their lifetime. 4.

* Almost one-third of female homicide victims that are reported in police records are killed by an intimate partner. 5.

* Human trafficking is the third most profitable criminal activity, following only drugs and arms trafficking. 6.

* More than 80% of human trafficking victims are female. 7.

The mission of Coastal Consulting Services is to reach as many people as possible to provide them with new or additional information on victimization, prevention techniques, and places to go for help.
